While you won't (yet) be able to run Tosca natively and have it steer applications on Mac or Linux due to the heavy reliance on Windows technologies you might be using a Mac or a Linux machine at home and still want to be able to somehow use Tosca. Having Mac or Linux as a host OS still allows Tosca to run under Windows in a guest machine or alongside your main OS.
